"Esther sent me looking for you. I doubt sticking you in the trunk of car is her style." Angela didn't have time for this crap. In a different situation she could care less where this little bastard went.
"I thought you didn't see who put in the trunk?" Angela pulled Remy from the edge of the car and ushered him toward downtown.
"You can explain it to me as we walk. Now, move." She couldn't catch a break; even puling a man from the trunk of a car made her the bad guy. What ever happened to thanking someone for the simple curtsy of pulling them from the trunk of a car?

Angela can sense the growing fear and agitation within the man, the panic in his red-rimmed eyes. Remy noticeably grimaces at Esther's name, and his fingers clench and unclench nervously. He hadn't wanted to name names, to let on that he did know exactly who had put him in that trunk. How could he ever forget her face? That smile? She knew he knew, but he'd keep quiet. But he'd learned a long time ago to keep your eyes down and your mouth shut. If you did see or know something, it was best to pretend you didn't.
Now, move.
"Okay, okay, fine," he says, moving as though to follow her - and then suddenly pivoting off his front foot and bolting the other way. He hops up onto the sidewalk, bolting as fast as his dress shoes and adrenaline can carry him.

Angela knew Remy was lying. But why? Esther had the resources to protect him, but maybe he didn't know that, and maybe Esther wasn't that interested.
"We got a block to walk, so why not just tell..."
The young man took off running.
Really?
Angela took off after him, her boots hitting the ground hard as she chased after Remy. This is not what she wanted her evening to turn into. What was wrong with having a normal night out? Less blood and more friendly conversation was all she was asking.

The Ventrue swiftly closes the distance, hot on the mortal's heels. Hearing Angela right behind him, Remy glances over his shoulder, fear and desperation in his eyes. He curses loudly, and makes for the group of college students that had passed by moments earlier.
Remy bowls through the startled pack of people, and grabs the shoulder of one of the scrawnier guys. With a grunt, he throws the kid to the ground as he passes. Anything to slow down the woman chasing him! He'd had his ass handed to him by one woman already tonight, and he wasn't about to let a second have the chance if he could help it.
"F--- off!" he barks, cutting towards the nearest bar or restaurant. Someplace bright, someplace public, someplace he can slip away.

Angela wasn't letting this kid get away. He has information that she wanted. Angela moved swiftly, jumping over the man that Remy had thrown to the ground in his attempt to escape. She had been on plenty of foot chases and this kids was wearing on her patience. Angela was gaining on him and all it would take; one small slip up on Remy's part and Angela would be on him fast and not so gentle. But if not, she'd chase him till he passed out. Not like she needed to breath to run.

The vampire moves with breathless speed, and Remy barely manages to make it to the door of The Silo, just a few doors down from Vera Mae's Bistro. The bulky bouncer out front sits on his metal stool, puffing an acrid cigarette - but stands when the man practically throws himself at the bar's entrance. "Woah woah woah," the man says, sticking out a hand to block Remy. "ID, kid." Panting, Jeremy desperately pleads, "She's trying to f---ing kill me, man!" He points a finger at Angela, determined to make a scene and hopefully spook her. "She has a knife!"

Angela had to deescalated the situation and fast. As the bouncer stopped Remy, she approached mimicking labored breathing as she flashed an ID and badge quickly enough for him to identify Angela.
"Thank you, Sir. This one as been on the run for awhile." She gave the bouncer a polite and professional smile. Angela looked the part of a cop though she hadn't been one in years. "You've done your community a service, Sir. Thank you again."
She gripped Remy tightly on the forearm, not enough to hurt, but enough to make a point trying to escape would be bad for his health.

The bouncer gives Remy a withering look, flicking him away. "Yeah, okay kid. You have a good night." Angela makes a pretty convincing cop, but mostly he simply - doesn't care. Why make this his problem? It is, however, Remy's problem, and he swings a fist, which hurts Angela about as badly as a gnat sneezing. He grunts with the effort, trying to break free. Angela feels the scrap of his knuckles against her chin, but it never fazed her as she pulled his arm back and up against his back, rendering his moves less she break his arm.
"Now, Remy. No hitting. I'm sure we can discuss this like adults."
Angela moved back toward Esther's car, making sure any attempt to hit her again, would be at his risk. "Please don't make me break your arm. You're a good kid, Remy and I don't want to hurt you unless it seems appropriate." She rounded the corner to Esther car, not far from were the Toyota had been parked. Reaching into her pocket to pushed him against the side of the car.
Reaching into her jacket pocket she pulls out the car keys and pops the trunk. Angela doesn't even ask, she just put the man into the trunk and taking in the young man handsome eyes, "be still." Her command rolled over him like a gentle hand ready to comfort.

"You're not taking me to her!" he screams, hot spittle flying from his mouth. Desperately, he lunges forward, sharply crouching - the movement is agonizing, and Remy can feel his shoulder dislocating. But raw adrenaline burns in his blood, and the man breaks free from the Ventrue's hold. He's not going to go without a fight. (Spending a Willpower, Action is to try and Break Grapple -- 28+3+3=34 -- subtract Angela's Strength (which I don't know), but it's far more than the 1 Success necessary to break the hold.) (About the Command, I'm going to rule that "Be Still" fails as a Command in this case because Remy is in combat, and believes himself to be in mortal danger. Per the book, "'Sleep' and the like causes the subject to follow the order only if she does not believe herself to be in any mortal danger. A character seduced by a Kindred might sleep if so instructed, but one in the middle of a combat or interrogation certainly does not." I'll say that he'll not run away in his next turn, though.)

Angela lets Remy go, has his screams carry on and echo from the parking lot grounds. Taking out her cell phone to called Esther, the little shit being more then she wanted to handle.
Closing the trunk door as Angela watched the young man run for his life. This was now Esther's problem.
Getting into the car she left the young man to the streets of Muncie. Once he calmed down, Remy would probably return to a place he felt safe.
Angela wasn't the brat's keeper and she sure as fuck wasn't going to chase him all night. With a masquerade breech and Sheriff no where to be found, Angela had enough on her plate.
She took Esther's car and drove back to the parking garage. Angela had been gone a while and returning to the scene of a crime was not her idea of woman's night out. Taking out her cell phone she called Esther, "please tell me Aodhfin is there?"

Esther picks up immediately. "No. He hasn't arrived yet," she replies and Angela can hear the tension in her voice.
"Did you find him?"

"Yes. He's alright, unharmed. I'll explain more once we get this over thing taken care of." Angela stepped from the car and walked the block to the tower, the cell phone pressed to her ear. As the night got later, the temperature started to drop. While it seemed refreshing to Angela, her dead skin was numb to the chill of the night.
When she approached the tower, "I'm here." Angela felt annoyed by the situation, running back like having her strings yanked, pissed her off.

Esther comes down the tower and meets Angela at the door, nudging it open with her toe. "No sign of Gryphon and we cannot stay here all night. We had best call Sebastian and his horde. They are experienced in dealing with such things. Him or Malcolm," she says.

Angela stepped in ad glanced at her watch.
"Give him twenty minutes. We need to keep this in house. At least until we have to go to Ainsworth. It's Aodhfin to deal with this first. If he doesn't show, then we'll make the call."
