Angela walked to the outskirts. City lights gave way to wooded forests and miles of flat fields. Still her boots carried her further into the wood, past the lively river current; the walking paths none existent. The Venture's mind raced in thoughts of what to say or do if she found Aodhfin, and what she would do if she couldn't locate the recluse Gangrel. Normally she would never go to his haven, not without invite. But this was an emergency.

The forest gathered tighter, darker than a moonless night. Vines circled around the hill top, or what look to be a hill top. Angela never felt alone here, always felt the eyes of multiple creatures boring into her being. The thick vines were not what they seemed, and Angela swallowed back a shiver.

"Aodhfin." Angela spoke his name, hoping the forest Gangrel would answer. Angela hadn't been to this vine infested haven since Aodhfin had granted her a bit more of her humanity. It held confusing emotional memories. But the Venture would never admit her body language to such a proclamation.
