Moreno ignores Angela, in this moment there was only him and Sebastian in that intense tunnel vision. Instead he lectures the Prince speaking slowly in hushed tones as Sebastian extends his fangs.
"Perhaps my Prince would think to what Lucien would do in this situation and find some composure and in doing so think to who might best be able to address a 'shadow plague.' You should let me examine that book and then let us decide whether Foster requires my attention. You have other servants who can bring this creature to heel. You know who I am heir d'Villain, how you would see me repay my debt is up to you but I would give it more than careful consideration..."
Flashes of more memories, Dove crying, Sebastian's teeth gnashing.
Moreno's course was set, all that remained to be seen was the Prince's choice.
"The shadows have been and always will be my domain..."

Esther simply nodded in reply to Angela's suggestion and waited silently for the men to decide whether they would abide peacefully or withdraw to settle their business elsewhere, for certain they had it. The rumors and stories still abound of Moreno and the Villain family.

The beast refused to back down, Sebastian's internal struggle was clearly written all over his face. He wanted nothing more than to gut Moreno where he stood. He twitched and growled at Moreno as he started in on his lecture. What did it matter what Lucien would do? Lucien wasn't here, he wasn't prince, Sebastian was prince. It should be about Sebastian would do, no more living under his Fathers shadow. This was his city!
"I can see that the shadows cling to you, refusing to let you go. But you've never been a man to work with the arcane, why should I let you look at this book?" Sebastian was spitting his words now, almost slavering at the thought of digging into Moreno's entrails and draping the street lights with them, and though he was winning his war with his beast, it was slow going.

"You know so much about me to be sure of my lack of expertise? You presume too much young Prince, but it is not my place obviously to advise one of your august stature. I of course wish you nothing but the best in this endeavor, I am sure you will find some way to keep this... our small domain from falling to ruin and rampant final death."
Moreno's words are measured and amazingly polite in the face of the rabid prince but it is obvious the other kindred is disappointed in the other's lack of control. He turned to Angela and Esther finally.
"You will have to forgive me ladies it seems I am needed elsewhere. My apologies of course for intruding. Do be careful out there, the night is full of many dangers to the uninitiated..."
He casts one last glance at the prince with some finality knowing Lucien's dream was done. Moreno turns on his heel then and strolls quietly out into the night.

What was only seconds seemed to drag on for days. but the beast finally subsided, the red haze retreating back to the edges of his vision. Sebastian cursed his blood, at times running hotter than the Deava. The Gangrel beast is fierce and refuses to back down, something he will have to always have to deal with. He took a heavy sigh, as his blood finally began to cool.
"Alder Moreno, my apologies." to admit that was hard, but he knew his episode was in the wrong. "It is sometimes difficult to think straight fighting down the needs of the beast. If you think you might be able to piece together something from the book, I would have you look at it. Because you're right, I don't know what you can do."
He paused and watched the elder retreat into the night. He shook his head slightly to himself, and relaxed his body. This was going to be a long and trying ordeal.

Angela stood silent, waiting for the Prince's beast to take charge; but it never did. The young Venture was surprised; Ainsworth swallowed his beast and apologized. The shock didn't show and her body language never betrayed her thoughts.
She waited for the scene to calm, for the storm between bad blood to settle. The tension in the air was still electrifying, dancing just above her skin like a dangerous caress. Angela focused her eyes on the two male kindred, hoping they had ended it.

Sebastian watched and waited Moreno in vain. It seemed that in that singular moment he'd managed to sever yet another anchor that would have let him keep his city. He felt it slip just that much further away from him.
"You two know what needs to be done?" He asked heavily, the strain of holding back his beast clearly evident in his posture.

"Oui," Esther replied, "I shall fetch Monsieur d'Eau and let you know as soon as I have him in hand."
She recognized the burden of leadership, of rule, as it laid heavy on the man's shoulders, but men such as him were not often given to comfort, as she had found in her un-lifetime. They dealt in their own ways.
With that, she then turned and made her way on down the sidewalk into the night, leaving the prince and the lady Ventrue by their lonesome.

Angela felt the tension ease, the air smoothing out; no longer thick with the need for blood shed.
As Moreno turned his back on the Prince, Angela closed the distance. "Ainsworth," Angela waited to gain his attention once again, her tone a strong whisper against the settling anger that rebound. She prepared to be met with a hateful glare - those familiar golden eyes - a prelude to his beast lashing out.
"A word."

Sebastian turned to look at Angela, he saw the concern in her face, the readiness to act in case he lost control. He straightened his coat, and flexed his hands. His knuckles popping in a cruel cacophony, like a bundle of sticks being broken across a knee.
"What is it?" He said evenly, the furry quickly receding and cooling back to cold logic. His face returned to the old calm facade he tried to hide behind.

(Moreno has now exited the scene. Sorry if I wasn't very clear.)

Angela let the smell of blood and dust fade back into the distance. The musty smell of death wasn't a scent easily forgotten, but the young Venture managed. "Aodhfin is gone. He wasn't at his haven."
The smell of wild lingered on her clothing, Aodhfin's Gangrel scent heavy on her skin.
"Esther and I never made visual contact. We didn't get the chance. But contrary to Esther's belief, this disaster was not her fault. I'm not going to speculate, but this could be more shadow then kindred. We won't know till we find Aodhfin. If we ever do."

"Then he's either fled, entombed himself in the earth, or dead." His eyes lingered on the fallen structure. "Ester mentioned that you thought this unknown Kindred in the tower had let his beast escape. What did you mean by that?"

Angela didn't lay eyes on the fallen tower; she could't allow those thoughts to cloud her focus. Aodhfin was a survivor - if not a pain in the ass.
"When we found the kindred, he was burned beyond recognition. His chest had been split open, spread outward, like something had bust from his body. I remembered when we were all attacked in our sleep. The nightmares, the feeling of having my chest burst open. I think that's what this was, but that poor bastard didn't survive it."
Angela paced a bit, her fingers flying to her mouth as she tapped the tips against her lips. "Those shadows we've been seeing, what if they're beasts manifested? If that's the case, this could get messing real quick. I don't know much about shadows. But if you anyone you trust in that area. Get them here and have them investigate."

A thought occurred to Sebastian, one more terrifying than loosing his city, or the respect of those around him. He pushed the thought deep, he couldn't think about that right now. He couldn't and wouldn't show anyone the fear that crept into his thoughts and truly threatened to bring the world down around his ears.
"Yes well, unless you can locate some one else...it's either Jean or Moreno, and one of those I've just alienated. Touchy old bastard..." he growled quietly under his breath. "Was that all?" He was itching to get back to the manor now, he needed to look to make sure, they were just too quiet.
