Foster... the name resonated inside of Alejandro's mind as he stepped from the nest of darkness that had kept him cloaked before. His face is impassive and pale in the icy night as he strides confidently towards the gathering. A cold smile crept across the older kindred's face as he considered the entombed kindred he walked above as he approached.
"Such ruin... One almost would pity the kindred among us responsible for such devastation...almost. My Prince..." Moreno nods in greeting almost imperceptibly.

" I only know what I have told you but I will make inquiries immediately," Esther replied, spying Angela as well as she stands there with Sebastian. The slithering power of Moreno, however, caused her to growl under her breath as she turns to face the pale monster that approached.
"Monsieur," she greeted him.

If Sebastian was surprised at the arrival of Moreno, he didn't show it. "One would be foolish to pity them," he said turning to the Elder. "And what brings you out here Alder Moreno? Did you have something to do with these events as well?"

Their voices carried over to her, through the mountains of debris which had been formed in the streets of Munice. The University had been turned into a crime scene. She had no doubt that every agency had their fingers in it. Angela rounded the murderous pile of stone and metal, silently approaching the gather of kindred. She said nothing as she closed the distance quietly, her hands deep in the pockets of her jacket.
The wind was death, cold and heartless as it broke through her long dark hair, her skin immune to it's icy touch. That familiar scent of the wild wrapped around, dulling out the gentle scents of rosemary and mint.
This city was crumbling and Prince Ainsworth was struggling to keep it together. Angela knew it and she had no doubt the other Kindred knew it also.
But she had made a promise to Ainsworth, and she would keep her promise.

Esther released Sebastian's arm gently to allow the Prince to stand on his own as Angela approached to join the small contingent of vampires there in the shadows. Her dark eyes meet the other woman's, speaking volumes of her anger at the Foster woman, her guilt at the unnecessary deaths of so many, and worry for the missing Aodhfin.
In a blink, the well of emotion was gone and Esther paid her close attention to the conversation happening.

Alejandro feigns insult at Sebastian's query. "I can assure you I had nothing to do with..." he motions a hand in a circular motion towards the devastation, "...this."
He takes a moment to watch Esther retreat slightly before returning his attention to Sebastian. "As to why I am here? It isn't every day that the largest monument in one's city crashes to the frozen earth, I thought it was worthy of my attention. I can see I wasn't alone in such thoughts." Moreno purses his lips rubbing his chin with his index finger, "the masquerade is often such a tenuous thing." His eyes raise up to meet Sebastian's directly, "you will need to do something about this, such a thing cannot go unanswered. For now however I think my attentions turn to this... Foster you speak of."

Sebastian listened intently meeting the elders cold gaze. He smelled Angela approach from his side, but paid her little attention. He felt the strings pulling apart, the tapestry of the city unraveling. "I know of the severity of this situation. This has already hit the national news, so there's nothing we can do to cover it up, but we can minimize." He looked at the three other Kindred staring at him, wondering how loyal all three were. This went beyond him though, this was breach through and through, and all of their lives depended on the next few days.
"I want Foster brought before me, by whatever means necessary. Until we understand more of what's happened, consider her Red Listed. I expect the whole city to be looking for her. Just don't make this worse than it already is. In the mean time, I'll work with the city, to try and divert attention from us." He turned to Ester, "Mrs. Montessori, how well do you know the shadow, Jean?"

Angela listened as Ainsworth started to formulate a plan, trying desperately to pull the fabrics of the city back together.
The young Venture waited for an opening to speak, content to listen. At the mention of Jean, Angela looked to Esther. Shifting her eyes from one speaker to the next.

Sebastian's words stoke the bellowing fire behind the Elder's eyes and a clarity is suddenly found there with Foster's proclamation as Anathema. The serpent within Moreno begins to uncoil and an uneasy feeling begins to fall over the area of ruin as his beast begins to reach out in every direction, eager for the meal to come and the excitement of the hunt. More so than ever Moreno's face seemed to be nothing but a convenient facade held in place to hide whatever alien force resided within his tightly coiled form.
"As you decree..." His words are but a whisper as he takes in Esther's and Angela's response to the Prince's words knowing full well it was all falling apart on him.

"Good, find him and bring him to my estate. I have a book I will have him look at. If there is any legitimacy to this claim that a sacrifice can calm these shadows it'll be in there." He looked back around the group, "Remember I want Foster alive, after I'm done with her, I don't care what happens to her."

Moreno's face snaps back to Sebastian like a crack of thunder and he closes the distance between them uncomfortably so.
"A sacrifice to shadows? What book do you possess?" His question is urgent and shades of demanding. Suddenly there was no one there but the two men as the world outside of their small bubble seemed to grow darker. Alejandro's mind reeled wildly through memories as he set his jaw.

Sebastian met the older kindred head on, his own beast rising to the surface like a tsunami. Already agitated and angry, the presence of another beast suddenly and forcefully so close nearly caused the Prince to snap. With every ounce of his being, Sebastian suppressed the nearly insane animal from lashing out.
"The shade priest we killed in the asylum, had a book buried in her ashes that I picked up when we left." Pearl fangs snapped down, as Sebastian fought to maintain control, "It's been under lock and key while we've confirmed if the shadows are gone or not. Perhaps you have less of a vested interest in this Foster than you thought Moreno, perhaps you know more about this shadow plague then you've let on."
Sebastian's hands twitched so close to the elder shadow, he'd secretly wanted another chance at the elder, and here he was actively trying to not kill him.

The young Venture stepped forward, align with the Prince. "If you both insist this further, take it else where." Angela was right. Now was not the time for a pissing contest and they didn't need another breech of the Masquerade.
"Esther, be careful. I would suggest taking Mr. Moreno to collect Jean. Perhaps having another of his family present, will presaude him to join us."
Angela looked to the Prince, hoping her words could break through his need for frenzy. "We need to speak on Aodhfin, alone."
