Anna felt a rush of heat travel up her body, her cheeks flushed a generous and healthy pink as Quinn tucked a blonde lock behind her ear.
"It sounds, fun but...I don't know." Heart pounding in her chest at the other woman's touch, Anna was suddenly speechless. She smiled, a bit shy with the compliment. Anna's mind played out a delightful fantasy of being a model. The escape from her motherly duties if just for a day. But Bethy would need her and while Michael would smile and tell her to follow what made her happy, she couldn't inflict that image upon him and his career.
Anna took a deeper sip of the chilled drink and swallowed, her head swimming with amazing fantasies.

"Oh please say you'll come!" she encourages brightly placing her hand under Anna's chin, bringing her face to face with the scarred beauty while the other hands index finger traces along her thigh.

Anna couldn't help but feel guarded. Something about Quinn, kept pulling Anna back into herself. She felt her thighs tighten as the woman's finger grazing along her pale, unmarred flesh, and she gave a nervous smile; her cheeks so pink she looked a school girl all flushed with excitement. At Quinn's touch she couldn't say no.
"Yes. yes, I'll join you." She set her glass down and beamed at the thoughts. "I've never done this before and I have to admit, I'm nervous." Quinn could hear the woman's heart thundering against her chest, the blood pulsing faster through her body as Anna's skin warmed in anticipation. Her blue eyes roamed the woman's face, not being able to help but stare. Who could have hurt Quinn so badly? This wonderfully friendly and generous young woman. Anna felt her heart tighten, but as her blue orbs focused on Quinn's two toned eyes; Anna felt her heart warming sensation, chill in a sudden since of dread. Not overwhelming, but again came the feeling of being near a force Anna didn't quite understand.

She wet her lips but pulled away and stood "Have you ever seen one of these?" she asks walking to a section of the living room and placing her hand on the aerial hoop.

She stood, smoothing out the cream colored silk of her dress over the area Quinn had touched, as if hiding her flushed skin would help ease her pulse. Anna stood by Quinn and looked at the ring.
"It used for acrobatics, right? Michael and I saw a wonderful show in New Orleans last year. Beautiful aerial dancers." She looked to Quinn, her eyes settling on the jagged heart shape on her cheek, before pulling her eyes to the ground then up at the ring again. Anna wanted to ask, wanted to know who had hurt Quinn so horribly.

She took off her stole and grabbed the ring with both hands. She looks at Anna desire in her eyes and raised herself up into the loop, her butt on the silver. She holds out a hand down to Anna, inviting her up. Up onto the silver hoop of dreams, of desire, of passion. For that is what the preformers had did they not?
"Join me." she says in a whispered tone.

A warning pressed at the back of her head telling her no, while the blood in her veins was telling her, yes.
Anna reached her hand up to Quinn, excitement and twinge of fear filling her eyes.

Quinn fluidly lifted Anna up and carefully guided her so that she was sitting beside her facing the opposite way. She then began to swing the hoop, gently and grabbed a remote from a nearby shelf. The speakers hidden in the house began to play Beating Heart by Ellie Goulding, Quinn began to move her arms like liquid to the song. Her legs twisting and dancing as she looks the four inches to Anna "Mirror me." she requests as the music begins to get into its real rhythm. Her eyes still held desire and it was only moments before Quinn made her move. Meanwhile outside the neighbors got to know each other, devoured food, drinks and just enjoyed the night air as snow began to fall. (( www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrNTOo4KH8c ))

As Quinn's scarred hand wrapped Anna's pale smooth wrist, the young human let out a soft gasp as she was lifted with ease onto the large metal ring. Anna clung the metal, more fearful of falling then desire in Quinn's eyes.
"Quinn...I don't want to fall...."
Anna pressed her thighs together, her feet crossed at the ankles as her modestly got the better of her fear. (They weren't high off the ground, if Anna fell, it wouldn't damage anything but her pride.) The blond beauty braved to let go and followed Quinn's movement. Anna's movement's were stiff, not as smooth and elegant as the model. Again, Anna found herself staring at Quinn's distinguishing scars; the jagged heart shape seeming so violent even in the innocence of the shape. As Quinn's intriguing eyes locked on Anna, she removed her baby blue stare; only to turn away; embarrassed for being so rude.
Anna didn't want to make Quinn feel insecure...

Michael danced with Bethy, her giggles music to his ears as the snow began to fall in thicker flakes. The moon was high and a perfect night for a winter outing. Bethy reached out from her father's arms and touched the falling softness; like angel kisses on her skin. Again she giggled and kissed her father's nose. Such pride. Michael smiled and laughed before placing Bethy down to duck under the cloth gazebo, escaping the cold of the falling snow.
"That was some dancing, Bethy. You have your mother's two left feet." He brushed the snow from her hair, the smile still reaching his eyes.
Bethy frowned, "daddy, I don't have two felt feet. I have one right foot, and one left foot." She point to each black slipper and smiled, proudly.
"You are very correct my smart, beautiful girl. Let's see what's keeping your mother."

Quinn is careful with Anna on the hoop, making sure she keeps her balance. She moves gracefully as the song moves her and hopes it moves Anna as well. When Anna turns her head away from Quinn, she moves in and lightly kisses her neck. She pulls away and places her hand under Anna's chin again, hoping she looks at her. Giving Quinn a signal that this is alright, that she had seduced her just enough. A light flirting to be built upon later.

Anna felt her cold lips touch her the delicate skin of her neck and she felt a chill slide down her spine as her skin rippled with sensation. She touched her neck, her face flushed with confusion as she didn't know how to react. "Quinn... I..." Anna looked to young model, her eyes gently darting about as she fought to find the words past the floating in her head. The alcohol had hit her hard, harder then she would have even allowed.

Quinn leaned in kissed her gently, but quickly flashing a bright smile. "Come on. Lets get back to the party. I don't want people to get bored, but Im sure you've had a good time." she insures and grabs a foot stool with well her foot of course. Her arm around Anna she guides her carefully down the stool and back onto Earth.

As Quinn's lips touched her, Anna froze. She didn't know how to react. The world was a buzzing whirlwind, the music a moaning echo. Anna slipped from the metal ring, her skin still chilled by the young woman's touch. As Bethy and Micheal's laughter echoed through the kitchen, Anna snapped back into reality.
Oh, poor Michael. What am I going to tell him?
"Here you are." Michael smiled lifting Bethy up in his arms. "We though you had run off with the circus."
Anna's mind spun with what to say what to do to make this guilt easy it tightening grip. As tears about filled her eyes she pushed them back and smiled. "No, my silly loves. I was being entertained by our new neighbor." Anna brushed her finger over her lips, as though feeling the cold sensation still tickling her tender flesh was a continuing betrayal to her husband.
"This is an impressive home you have made for yourself, Miss Mason." Michael gave her a smile, that reached her eyes.

"Thank you very much!" Quinn says warmly, walking around so she is near Michael's leg and near Bethy. Quinn places her hand lightly against Michael's leg and slowly rakes her innocent and alluring eyes to meet Michael's then back down to Bethy, sweet and warm "Do you like kitties sweetheart?" she asks.

Michael held his smile, even as his skin chilled and the hairs stood on end. He hated how the woman was looking at him, suddenly compelled to pull his daughter away from her touch. As the woman touched his leg, Michael's smile dropped. He was on guard, not noticeably, but he was on alert. Anna moved and curled her arm around his, hoping to calm him with just the touch of her hand.
"We should be going. It's getting late." Micheal's tone held a hint of bitter taste.
"Yes. Bethy-bear. Lets head home." Anna held her hand out to her daughter.
Bethy looked up at her father and smiled, "Daddy, I want a kitty. Please?"
"No." Michael's tone was harsh causing Bethy to move quickly to her mother's side. "Miss Mason, it was a pleasure." He gave a half smile and ushered his family from the kitchen. As they exited, Anna looked over her shoulder, "thank you again for a lovely evening." Still trying to cover for her husband's rude behavior.
The snow was falling harder, the guests still drinking and mingling. Anna felt her husband's hand, tighten around her arm, guiding her from the property. "Michael, what is the matter with you?" She pulled away from him as they stood by their car.
Micheal opened the door, "Bethy buckle yourself in, dear." He went around to the driver's seat, his shoes crushing the packed snow underneath. He hadn't bothered to answer his wife. Anna followed him and pressed her hand against the door, before cupping his face in her soft, gloved hands. She had never seen Micheal act this way, even in the most stressful of situations.
"Michael. Talk to me."
Michael stared down at the set of keys in his gloved hand and clenched his jaw, his blue eyes chilling as they met her gentle baby blues. "You are to never talk to or see that woman again. Do you understand?" His eyes were cold, blank; an expression Anna had never seen before. Her hands slowly fell from his tightly clapped jaw. Anna's touch always calmed him, always comforted. But not now.
"Why?" Anna was nervous. Had he caught Quinn kissing her in a way that betrayed their marriage?
"Don't question it, Anna. Just do it." His voice was calm, deadly calm.
Anna looked away and nodded, "alright." She walked around the car and huddled into the cold leather seats. Anna didn't want to stay away, but what choice did she have?
