Maxine is dressed in a distinctly mod 60's style dress and her hair black with pink streaks. She makes her way to the gardens and gives them the password that had been passed to her.
She slips inside and looks around for someone important looking. Her eyes glance around rapidly and her nervousness is plain on her face. She mutters "Max, let's hope this doesn't end with you in a body bag. Remember to play nice."

It didn't take long for Maxine to find someone important. The Prince sat motionless and reading out on the patio of the small club, his thrall kneeled on a pillow next to him. Sebastian wore a crisp suit tailored perfectly for his lanky form, with a rich purple shirt and black tie, and shoes polished to such a high shine you use them as a mirror. The golden haired thrall, knelt at this side, her curls spilling around her beautiful face. She wore a black evening dress that left very little to the imagination, with purple ribbons tied neatly around her neck and wrists. In spite of the cold she didn't seem to be shivering. Across from the pair stood a severe looking man in his forties, his suit was also tailored to his form, but his jacket seemed to be bulkier than perhaps would have been expected from the quality of the cut. He kept his eyes down but he was alert, twitching slightly as Maxine entered the club.
The book in Sebastian's hand was leather bound with rough cut pages. No title appeared on the cover and spine was obscured by his hand. In spite of it's appearance it was a modern book. "A Feast of Crows" it would have said if anyone could see it. Sebastian had the book reprinted and bound in leather as he did with most of the books he read. To be seen with a standard paper back would send the wrong message.

Maxine spots him from across the club and figures he must be one of the people he should see. She slowly approaches and, eyeing the man in the suit, stops several feet away. " I... Uh... " She thinks, nice work Max, tres eloquent. " I am looking for Sebastian Ainsworth. Do you know where I can find him?"

Steely blue eyes met Maxine's, then slowly looked her up an down, apprasing and evaluating as one might a horse. He took note of the older style dress that he'd seen come and how it clashed against her pink and black hair. A modern fusion of old and new that had started to sweep the millennial generation. Fashion changed so quickly now with the advent of new technologies often regressing into previous time periods, it was hard to pin down her chosen style of dress. She could be close to her apparent age, or she could be close to half a century.
Carthian
Dragon!
Hipster
But that's not a...
Sebastian snapped the book shut and handed it off to the thrall at his side, who took it without complaint or direction. He rose and tucked his hands firmly behind his back, "You've found him, Sir Sebastian Ainsworth de Villain, Lord, Prince, Knight, and Groom. And who might I have the pleasure of addressing?" He smiled warmly, though more out of being polite than any real jovial emotions.

She takes a steadying breath. Stupid being outside. This was so much easier at a computer. "I'm Maxine Dreyfus. I don't have any titles or anything. It's a pleasure to meet you... Your majesty?"

He smiled, "That will suffice, though I prefer Sir Prince. It is a pleasure Ms. Dreyfus. What brings you to my humble city?"

" Well, that's the thing. I live here. Like I've been here for a couple of years just doing my own thing and I didn't know about the rest of us here. I just learned I committed some big faux Paux by doing that though so I came here to apologize and introduce myself." She shrugs her shoulders, unsure of what else to say.

That was very brave of her. Sebastian again looked her over, he'd not seen her around nor had his thralls, so she knew how to keep her head down and that was good. " I appreciate you coming forward of your own volition. It would have been a shame if I had to come find you. You'll find that I'm not as draconian as some of my colleagues have been in the past though. Now that you've introduced yourself, I recommend getting familiar with the laws of the land." He points in the direction of the large sheet of vellum, framed and mounted on wall clearly displayed for all to see. " You'll be pleased to find there is no official punishment for delaying your introduction until now, short of not falling under the protection of the Prince's law, only it's rule. Might I inquire into your current location of residence?" It wasn't really a question but more of a demand, though he did try to be pleasant about it, and if she was to going to stay in his city, he would know where to find her.

She pauses a brief moment, clearly her instinct is to hide. She takes a steadying breath and states her address. " It's an old split level on the south side. I... Don't like to be conspicuous."
"I don't want any trouble or anything. I don't even leave the house much."

"Then from the sounds of it, no trouble will find you. I don't make a habit of harassing my people." He wracked his brain looking her over. There wasn't anything particularly off putting about her, and the south side wasn't particularly wild or dangerous anymore so Nos and Gangrel were out of the question. She didn't strike him as a Deava and most Ventrue held a sort air about them, like they were better than you.
"I take it you're of Mekhet blood then? What of your allegiance? Is there a covenant that currently holds your favor?"

She nods. "Yes. I am a Mekhet. And I don't belong to a covenant. I'm more of an independent." She shrugs.

"Very good," just was Sebastian needed, another unaligned Kindred. They seemed so few an far between in previous nights, now they were everywhere.
"Well, let it be known that you have been acknowledge by me. We are spared the theatrics since it's just you and me here." He smiled, actually grateful for the break in protocol, and gave her a small knowing wink. Even the Invictus get tired of the pomp and circumstance with everything they do. Especially this Gangrel.
"Now that you're not only bound but protected by the law of the land, are you any good with computers or radio? You strike me as the bookwormy kind."

She nods. " Yeah. Computers are my thing. I've never dealt with radio but I'm sure that with a couple of weeks prep, I'm sure I can be up to speed quick."

"Hmm, I am usually capable of waiting," he tilted his head slightly and looked up, the motion silently communicating that was pretty much a lie. "but I require some expediency. There's been someone sending out questionable material over the air waves. I would need someone to try and track this down. It's possible that there might be something online. I've not looked." He clasped his hands firmly behind he back, "An enterprising Kindred, such as yourself, might still be useful and curry some favor with their work in helping to seal a possible breach."

She perks up. "Oh. Sure! I can give it a look see at least. Do you have any info collected as a starting point or am I on square one?"
